How to use this tool

1. Create a spreadsheet from a template or choose an XLSX or UTF-8 CSV file.
2. Use Add row or Edit to fill in clearly labelled fields. For an imported workbook, choose a sheet and its header row.
3. Save the row, review the preview and download Excel. Download before closing this page; changes are not saved online.

Frequently asked questions

Which templates can I use?

Income and expenses, inventory, quotes, task lists and a blank table. Numeric templates include prepared totals and formulas. You can select the currency label without performing currency conversion.

Can I edit an existing Excel file?

Yes, for simple XLSX tables. You can select a sheet and edit individual rows, preserving other worksheets. CSV is imported as text to protect leading zeros and identifiers; choose the number or date type when editing a value. Legacy XLS must first be saved as XLSX.

What happens to formulas?

Imported formula cells are read-only. After edits, their saved results are hidden to avoid stale totals and Excel is asked to recalculate on opening. New rows do not automatically extend imported formulas. The built-in templates calculate their totals in the preview and export formulas.

What files are not supported?

Files with macros, charts, images, pivot tables, protected sheets or external links are not supported. Some advanced formatting may change. Use a simple table copy and review the exported file before replacing your original. Limits: 5 MB, 10 sheets, 2,000 rows and 40 columns per sheet, and 100,000 cells in total.

Are my files uploaded?

This tool reads and creates workbooks locally in your browser. It does not upload the workbook to a server and does not save it online.
